WW1 Centenary - The Royal British Legion

August 4TH 2014 marks the hundredth anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War (WW1). This long and insufferable conflict is remembered for being one of the worst in world history, claiming the lives of over 16 million people across the globe with fighting continuing until the 11th of November 1918, Armistice Day.
