New Advertising Campaign for UN Women uses real Google search to show the scope of Sexism towards women worldwide
UN Women (UNwomen.org) has got together with Ogilvy & Mather for their new campaign to come up with a series of thought-provoking ads that highlight discriminatory attitudes towards women. The adverts using real suggested search terms from Google's auto-complete feature like “women need to”, “women should” and “women cannot”, revealing the abhorrent opinions that people around the world have about women (The Words “women shouldn’t suffer from discrimination anymore” and “women cannot accept the way things are” appear in tiny, white print that are barely legible, showing how these opinions are largely ignored). We think these are very clever...check them out!
